Positive Friendships

Positive friendships and encouraging peer examples are vital to the character growth of a junior high student. At Life Lutheran School we value the climate and culture of the student body. A student body in which close friendships are formed and encouraged. Most important, a climate and culture that is rooted in the Law and Gospel of Scripture.

Academic Success

We meet students where they are. One of the most beneficial aspects of a multi-grade classroom is that students can freely move at their own pace in terms of grade level positioning. Students can thrive and be challenged by moving up in the curriculum to the next grade level in subject areas such as math and reading. Teachers and tutors are available for students who have questions or may be struggling with material to give each child a chance at true success in their learning.

Expanded Curriculum

One of the great features of Life Lutheran School are the electives available for students beginning in grade 4 and carrying through all the way through the junior high. Students are allowed to choose one elective per semester. These electives allow for a more rounded education than a traditional elementary education offers. Examples of elective courses in our curriculum include but are not limited to: Culinary Arts, Beginner Ukulele, Theater and Drama, Botany and Gardening, Computer Coding, Outdoor Adventure and Golf, and School Newspaper.
