Acrylic Painting Mrs. Paustian All $50 OR $25 Fee

Acrylic Painting: Students will learn various painting techniques and work on developing their own art styles. $50 for paints, brushes, canvases, and other art tools. $25 if students bring their own paints and brushes.

Modern Warfare Mr. V Grades 6-8 FREE

Students will gain an appreciation of our modern American Military as we learn about and study students in various branches of the military at West Point. Through the series produced by Business Insider called, Boot Camp, students will learn what it takes to excel in today’s modern military. Through these lessons students will engage in team building, boot camp style exercises, and critical thinking.

Included in this class will be a brief history of modern warfare including the Persian Gulf Invasion, the War in Afghanistan and the War against Terror, and the death of Osama bin Laden.

Pickleball, Bocce ball, badminton, and more! This class is a PE elective that emphasizes recreational games to stay active. This class is on its second year in a row being offered as an elective. This year’s course will emphasize more competition than last year’s class. We will be playing tournaments in various games with less instruction time and more playing time. You’re welcome to join this elective even if you attended the class last year. We also will be introducing some new games that were not offered last session! This will be a free elective option.
